The State of Nuevo Leon is in the process of developing Interpuerto Monterrey as a logistics platform serving the Monterrey – Saltillo/Ramos Arizpe catchment area.
Interpuerto creates an Inland Port and Logistics Gateway, on a site to the north of Monterrey of approximately 2000 hectares, with access to both the Ferromex and KCSM intermodal terminals.
The Inland Port incorporates a Free Trade Zone as a secure and bonded area focused on time sensitive manufacturing and value added logistics operations.
It is expected that this venture will increase the competitiveness of enterprises both in the inland port and other locations within the catchment area.
This is also to be achieved as a result of the twinning of Interpuerto with other gateway locations in the U.S.A. |
